about Luis
Luis Steigleder is a young, independent designer from Berlin. Growing up amidst the urban diversity and creativity of the city, Luis developed an early passion for fashion, art, and design. This passion led him to the renowned Lette Verein Berlin, where he completed his training as a state-certified fashion designer. He is currently deepening his knowledge and skills in textile design at the Kunsthochschule Giebichenstein, exploring the intersections between fashion, art, and textiles even further.
Luis work is characterized by a constant dialogue between external influences and the textures of the materials he works with. He is always searching for a harmonious balance between the aesthetic aspects of fashion and the artistic possibilities offered by textile design. In doing so, he places special emphasis on environmental consciousness and inclusion. Each of his creations is handcrafted and of the highest quality he can offer, reflecting his dedication to craftsmanship and sustainable production.
In the past, Luis led the creative direction of the young Berlin fashion label Majère, gaining valuable experience that has had a lasting impact on his artistic work. Today, he works as an independent designer and is open to collaborations, aiming to realize innovative projects together with other creatives. For Luis, fashion is more than just clothing—it is a platform for artistic expression and social responsibility.
With his work, Luis Steigleder aims to make a positive impact on the fashion scene, creating fashion that not only impresses visually but also embraces a sensitive conscious sustainable and inclusive approach. His vision is to merge fashion, art, and textile design into a cohesive whole while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
